Untreated, sleep apnea can cause high blood pressure and other cardiovascular disease, memory problems, weight gain, impotency, and headaches. Moreover, untreated sleep apnea may be responsible for job impairment and motor vehicle crashes.

On average a member with a sleep disorder costs a health plan 63% more than a member who does not have a sleep disorder and 22.3% more than a member who has a sleep disorder but is on PAP treatment. Statistics show that 10-15% of American have a sleep disorder but are not diagnosed

  • Hypertensive Disease
  • Higher Risk for Stroke
  • Obesity
  • Diabetes
